| ShockNet Radio went On-Air, December 25, 2005. It is owned and operated by R.J. & Sherry Evans of Norman, OK. The station is funded by the owners. ALL costs associated with the daily and monthly operation of the station are paid for by personal funds. ShockNet Radio DOES NOT accept donations, sponsors, or On-Air advertising. The station operates solely as a public service. It IS NOT in any way a company or business. However, ShockNet Radio will accept banner advertising to help defray costs of operation. Contact us for more information. The studio is located in Norman, OK . It was custom built into a brand new 3900 sq. ft. home on 10 acres outside of town. The studio is state of the art, broadcasting via AT&T Full T1, and providing listeners with quality programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. ShockNet Radio is licensed through LoudCity and pays performance royalties through LoudCity. ShockNet Radio has an extensive music library purchased through JonesTM. This library covers the 1960's through 2004. The current format is Classic Rock, Rock, Rock Pop and of course, Talk. Both syndicated Pod Casts and LIVE shows air on ShockNet Radio each week. |
